Digital wireless and mobile communication technology holds enormous promises to improve the quality of human life.

It allows people on the move to communicate with anyone using any device, anywhere, anytime, and to transmit any

content in any format, by any means of access.
The research community has made tremendous efforts to develop

new communication techniques that will fulfill these promises. Mobile and Space Communications Laboratory (MSCL)

at Hanyang University was founded in 2004 and selected as a National Space Laboratory in 2008. We investigates

broad areas of wireless mobile and space communication systems to meet the technical needs.

Our research interests are digital communication theory and its application to the system design and performance

evaluation of high speed wireless mobile and space communication systems, including new modulation and

demodulation techniques, multimedia wireless mobile communications, satellite communications, deep space

communications, military communications, and signal intelligence.

Specific research areas within MSCL include:

. Digital Communications Theory and Systems
. Mobile and Wireless Communications
. Next Generation Communications Systems
. New Modulation/Demodulation Techniques
. Satellite and Space Communications
. Military Communications
. Signal Intelligence/Electronic Warfare
. Next Generation ITS (Conneceted Vehicle)
